Healthcare Sector
In the healthcare sector, we operate as a subcontractor, manufacturing various components for laboratory furniture, hospital beds, and operating rooms for surgeons and veterinarians. We also produce metal furniture for clean space purposes. The typical raw material in this sector is stainless steel. While the manufacturing process for these products is not significantly different from other metal furniture, the quality requirements are typically very high. For instance, the edges of the components must be completely burr-free, and the surface must be scratch-free. Often, a flattened shape is desired to prioritize user safety (sharp edges must be eliminated).
This industry demands significant flexibility due to typically lower production batch sizes compared to other industrial sectors. The components are often highly complex. The combination of complexity, low batch size, and high-quality requirements usually lead us to employ combination machine technology (punching, laser cutting, shaping in a single unit) in conjunction with automated bending machines. This ensures a high and consistent product quality. Similar technology is also employed in the production of other stainless-steel products, such as household appliances and elevator panels.
