Aluminium passivation is suitable both for pure aluminium and aluminium alloys. Passivation is used, for example, in vehicle parts and in the electrical and electronics industries.

This coating is particularly suitable for electronic products because passivation does not reduce the electrical conductivity of the component, while still providing corrosion resistance. Aluminium passivation can serve as a pretreatment for powder coating or used as a final finish.

Aluminium passivation is carried out through a hanging process on an automatic coating line. This treatment meets the strict requirements set by the RoHS directive.
