Matimek is now Stremet’s Forssa factory

Timeline: Matimek was founded in 2015. At the end of 2019, Matimek moved from Tammela to Uusiokatu in Forssa, and the powder coating company Normipinta Oy was set up in the same premises. In August 2024, Stremet acquired the entire share capital of Matimek. On 1 November 2026, Matimek merged into Stremet Oy.

Matimek Oy merged into Stremet Oy on 1 November 2026. The Forssa factory at Uusiokatu 3 is now Stremet’s Forssa factory, and Stremet has two factories, in Salo and in Forssa. The staff, machines and contact persons in Forssa stay the same.

What the merger means for customers

  • Contact persons stay the same, and orders and deliveries continue as normal.
  • Invoices come from Stremet Oy.
  • The Forssa staff can be reached at @stremet.fi email addresses.

Two factories, one supplier

The machines in Forssa are part of the same production as the Salo factory. With more capacity, larger series and urgent orders fit into production more easily, and delivery reliability improves when the work is done in two factories.
