Painting is carried out within our long-standing partner network as subcontracting. Stremet is responsible for the whole delivery, schedule, logistics and quality.

Thanks to its low cost and environmental profile, it’s one of the most widely used coating methods for metal products. It’s also known as powder painting or stoving.

Batch sizes are flexible: we handle small runs just as readily as series of over 10,000 pieces, with fast delivery where needed. Maximum part size on the automatic line is 3000 × 800 × 2300 mm. Ask from Sales if the part is bigger. Colour shade and gloss level are also freely selectable from a wide range.

However we apply surface treatments only to parts and assemblies manufactured or sourced through Stremet.

Painting comes to the rescue when the part surface cannot withstand other treatments.

Painting, either 1-component or 2-component, remains a modern surface treatment method. Painting is used when some part of the product, the material, or a portion of the product material does not allow other coating methods, such as powder coating. Reasons for this can include limitations in the product’s heat resistance, colour requirements, large product size, or special properties required by the product’s coating.

Typically for example, such a product for us is a highly complex assembly made of thick laser-cut and welded parts, used, for instance, in agricultural or construction machinery.

We do not provide subcontract coating or painting services for components other than sheet parts and assemblies obtained through us.
