Why should you join Metallia Salosta on August 20? Because the Metallia Salosta evening market brings Salo’s metal industry companies together in one place for one evening, and Stremet is taking part as one of the host companies.

1. Almost all of Salo’s metal industry in one place, in one evening

Salo has a lot of metal industry expertise, but it is scattered across different halls in different parts of the city. At the market square they are all side by side. In one evening you will see how many different companies and specialities can actually be found here. All the way from sheet metal to machining, from assembly to surface treatment!

2. You get answers straight from the people who do the work

There are no consultants giving sales talks at the market square. There are people who do this work every day. You can ask directly what a working day looks like, what kind of machines are run, and what is worth knowing about pay and working hours. You will also find out what getting into the field requires in practice.

3. If work or studies in the field interest you, this is the lowest threshold

Applying for a job is a big step. Walking to the market square is not. If you are thinking about changing fields, studying, or your first job, in one evening you will get a realistic picture of where you would be heading. Without committing to anything.
